Spring cleaning your business, [FIRST NAME GOES HERE]

Hi, Reader!

Ahhhh, springtime. At least that’s what the calendar is telling me.

The snow is (mostly) melting, the days are getting longer, and somewhere in the back of your mind, there's a nagging voice that sounds a lot like your to-do list.

My to-do (before summer hits and I lose all momentum and interest) list involves year-end taxes and combing through drawers to chase down those receipts that have somehow eluded my “Taxes” folder.

For many coaches and consultants I work with, spring has a way of making the clutter more visible. Not just the closets, but the business clutter. The stuff that's been piling up over the colder months and slowing you down.

I'm talking about everything that only lives in your head. (I know, I talk about this a lot. But it's so important - it bears repeating.)

The unique phrases that make you, well, YOU.

Your personal stories that have taught you about how you want to run your business.

The way you explain your framework to a new client.

The words that automatically come to mind when someone asks what makes you different.

The tone that makes your people feel like they found the right person.

All of that amazingness, trapped. In. Your. Brain.

And as long as it lives there, you stay the bottleneck.

You're the only one who can write the email. Review the post. Approve the caption. Because no one else knows how to sound like you.

Sound familiar, Reader?

Here's what I see with the coaches and consultants I work with and where they usually are when we first connect:

Some are at the "I know I have a voice, I just can't explain it" stage.

They're showing up consistently, getting great feedback from clients, but when they hand content to a VA or a copywriter, it comes back... fine. Just not completely “them”.

They feel the pain but can't name it.

Others are further along.

They've done the Brand Voice work, they know how they want to show up across all of their communications, but the content hamster wheel still requires them at every step.

The bottleneck didn't disappear; they just moved it a bit further down the road.

Either way, the problem is the same: your voice is an essential business asset that only you can access.

That's where the real spring cleaning begins.

It's extracting what's in your head, documenting it in a way someone else can actually use, and building the systems that let your content get created — without you being the one creating it.

How light giddy does that make you feel, Reader?

So, you can go to the beach without worrying about the latest LinkedIn post. Or go for a hike. Or a swim.

That's exactly what my Brand Voice work does, whether you're starting from scratch with a Discovery Session, want a Documented Brand Voice Guide, or are ready to build out the full Delegation layer.

Here's a quick gut check for you. I promise it won’t take much effort, but it might highlight something very important for you.

Think about the last piece of content someone created for you that you had to heavily edit (aka rewrite).

What did the author miss?

Was it a word that you would NEVER use?

A unique story you would have told?

The way you specifically approach a lesson you’ve learned?

The AI pattern that, no matter how you try and make it sound HUMAN, it doesn’t?

Capture that. That gap is your starting point.

If you'd like to talk about it, I’m here.

I’d love to help you get your voice out of your head and into your team's hands.

Or maybe it’s a simple messaging refresh, so your team can better understand how to position your business.

Reply or book a call and let’s see how I can support you.

I’d love to dig into it together.

In the meantime, good luck with spring cleaning your desk drawers - how can one person have so many tubes of mostly-finished hand cream?!

I've got your Six!

Patricia

And, hey... Whenever you're ready to work together, here are a few ways to jump in right now:

→ ) Clean out (and we’ll write down!) all the things in your head. From “What should I say?” to “How do I differentiate myself?” Let’s chase down the demons and details that have been stopping you from moving forward. Book a Roadmapping Strategy Session, and you'll never play small again.

↓ ) Create a website that speaks to your ideal client and gives them EXACTLY what they need to know to make the decision to hire your bad self. Let me create compelling copy, improve your SEO and articulate your unique advantage over your competition. Book a Website Content Project when you're ready to blow your client's socks off.

↑ ) When you’re embarrassed to send prospects to your website because it’s a bit (or a lot) outdated (i.e., when your assistant doesn’t even recognize you): Book a Website Audit. This is great for service providers who are ready to work with next-level clients and need to present themselves more professionally.
